Sedation

About Sedation

Nitrous Oxide (also known as “laughing gas”) is a safe, effective form of sedation used to help children relax during dental procedures. It is administered through a small mask that fits over the nose and is generally well tolerated by most patients. Nitrous oxide has been used in dentistry for more than 150 years to reduce anxiety providing a level of analgesia (pain relief) sufficient to allow most dental procedures to be completed without discomfort.

At Dental Studio Pediatrics, we provide Nitrous oxide as mild sedation for anxious patients.
