Tooth Extractions

About Tooth Extractions

Losing their first tooth can be a memorable and exciting time for children. They usually tend to lose their first tooth around the age of six years. Your child may notice their tooth is loose, and that it falls out on its own with time.

Sometimes tooth extraction might be necessary when a tooth does not fall on its own or has been damaged beyond repair due to trauma or decay, or if it is preventing proper alignment of other teeth.

Our experienced pediatric dentists are trained in tooth extractions and will take the time to explain each step of the process. We will let you know what to expect before, during, and after.
